Deep Down: The Game
Have you ever pictured yourself going on an adventure of a lifetime while having to juggle obstacles? Then this new game Deep Down is exactly what you’re looking for. Deep Down is an adventure game that takes place in an underwater cave system. It is a singleplayer game design for those who are interested in exploration and looking for a challenging yet fun game. You are an experienced cave diver who heard about this cave system located along the West coast of Australia. You’ve heard about past cave divers attempting to reach the end of the system due to rumors about secrets of the people who came before you and the possibility of a life changing item.
The game starts as you arrive on the West Coast of Australia with all the diving gear you need. You are aware that those who came before you have not been successful in their journey and most never made it out. With nothing to lose you decide to face this challenge head on. As you explore the cave further you start to notice the air pockets are getting further apart. It gets incredibly dark at times as if you were closing your eyes and then the faint light comes back. There are moments where the water is freezing and you start to question what you’re doing. You also sense something following you but brush it off as delirium due to the lack of oxygen.
You finally make your way to the end and come across the item that could change anyone’s life. You are so dumbfounded that this item could help bring back everyone you’ve lost that you don’t notice multiple exits appear. An eerie sound catches your attention and you realize you don’t know which tunnel you came from. They weren’t there before were they? You could’ve sworn you just heard your name being whispered. The journey to the end was easy but now you have to figure out how to make it back. Your oxygen tank is running low, your mind is being messed with by supernatural forces and the water is slowly rising making you realize you have to move. Will you go down the right tunnel? Will you make it out and bring back your loved ones? Are you truly alone? Was your demise inevitable and your mind is tricking you into thinking you’re making it out?
